The Pico 2W not only has a dual core processor, but also has an open source dual core processor. I have seen tests that you may overclock the processor close to 200 percent! Now add the 12 programmable internal processors and it is truly a dream out of heaven. The cost is extremely low, and the peripherals like I2C, SPI, and RS232 with programmable PIO's, and again it is truly a dream out of heaven. Now add micro python, a C compiler, and supported assembler, with excellent 1300 + page data sheet, and again it is a truly a dream out of heaven. I totally loved the Microchip MCU's, but now these Pico boards are so much faster, so much less expensive, the debugger 20 times less cost that it's truly incredible. Ya, I love Vilros as well for their pricing, stocking of what is hard to find, low shipping costs, and specialized product availability. The 12 internal micro processors are what I have been waiting for, as in decades and the op codes of the instructions are extremely intelligently designed. They also can run at clock speed, instead of quarter speed of many others like a PIC chip. Note: I still love the PIC chips:) These Pico chips with board and software are, imho, a game changer for low cost, efficient micro-controller boards to date. Did you know, you can simply import the code from the 12 micro-controllers by using static struct data, which is a very novel approach. Imho, the Pi Pico 2W is the best of the best per dollar spent and deserves a Nobel prize:)
