J.C. Works great for a small profile raspberry pi5 with an nvme

James B. This is my second case and I am impressed with the quality. My first unit did the software transfer from the SD card to the Nvme effortlessly. I did something wrong this time and wound up having to reinstall my programs etc but all OK now. CPU temperature graphs are stable and the fan is extremely quiet.
I have read concerns about the proper selection of drives that will work but have not had any issues with either of my two .

Gary K. Although the Neo5 case keeps the pi5 cool even when running a stress test (62C), the pi is not fixed tightly in the case as the usb jacks and ethernet move when inserting cables. The screws to attach the case bottom easily strip the threads in the case. I had to find larger screws for two of the four in order to secure the bottom. I put a 500 GB M.2 NVME into the bottom and easily copied the sd card to it and configured the pi5 to boot from the NVME. The pi5 can even run the PCIe at level 3.

Kenneth R. I consider myself a novice when it comes to technology, but found converting my Raspberry Pi 5 from SD card to PCIe SSD very straight forward with the well written
instructions. The whole process took less than one half hour. The change in responsiveness was easily noticed on startup and performance. I am very happy with the outcome. My only negative observation was that you need to be very careful not to strip the case screws. Overall, I am very satisfied with Vilros and their products and service.
