I purchased this and a Raspberry Pi 4B to build a tiny AIO system. It’s a pretty good setup, easy to put together and compact.

The screen itself is pretty good, though the viewing angles are a bit narrower than many modern devices. Works well for the simple games that are my primary use case for the machine, though.

There’s a reasonable amount of space around the edges of the pi, which makes it compatible with most fans that can be mounted via screws running through from the top, of which there are quite a few. You may need to file the locating protrusions down a bit to clear a heat sink, though.

Clearance on the top is quite tight. The wires to power the screen are bent over pretty hard. An extra mm of space here probably would have been desirable. It would also be nice if the back cover were vented to flow more air to a fan, but that can be addressed with a dremel.

My only real issue with the screen itself is that I can’t find a way to get it completely shut the screen off. It can blank to black but it’s obviously still driving the screen and backlight. That makes this setup not work for an always on device, which is a shame. I planned to have it on my nightstand and just leave it on all the time and use it as a little media player in addition to game machine.

A little more wire clearance, venting, and the ability for the pi to completely cut signal and the screen to shut off would make this a perfect little setup.

My biggest issue was that I found no facilities for mounting a fan. Next was that for some reason it didn't want to flip the screen.

Was fairly easy to set up and works great. I also mounted it in the case made for it and the Pi 4. It makes a nice, compact package that the addition of a Bluetooth keyboard yields a complete computer.
