Our 16x2 LCD Module is perfect for your Raspberry Pi setup. It's pre-soldered with pin headers, so all you need to do it plug it in and start displaying content!
If this isn't what you're looking for then check out some other products on our website too; like 1280*800 resolution touch screen displays or even low energy Bluetooth modules ideal if battery life matters while using an older device such as an Android phone without WiFi support (that doesn’t mean they can’t connect wirelessly).
The display works fine and the tutorial was helpful. However, a spec sheet would be nice to have and/or info on the backlight. Nothing mentioned in the tutorial on how to hook this up. Is a resistor or pot required? What value?
