In late 2025, Raspberry Pi announced increases to the prices of some Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 products. These were driven by a rise in the cost of LPDDR4 memory, which was ultimately caused by the AI infrastructure roll-out.
The cost of LPDDR4 memory has continued to rise, and the cost of some parts has more than doubled over the last quarter. As a result, Raspberry Pi has been forced to make further increases to their pricing, affecting all Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 boards with 2GB of RAM or more.
These price increases will affect all distributors of Raspberry Pi products. They are not unique to Vilros.
For more information, see the announcement on the Raspberry Pi website - https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/more-memory-driven-price-rises/

- Raspberry Pi 5 (2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB)
