Download the Arduino IDE
The download for the official Arduino IDE can be found here:
The Arduino IDE is available for:
- Windows: Windows 10 and newer (installer or ZIP file)
- macOS: macOS 10.14 "Mojave" and newer
- Linux: 64-bit x86 and ARM distributions
The latest version is Arduino IDE 2.x, which features a modern interface, improved autocomplete, and better board management.
Windows users: avoid the App Store version
Important note for Windows users:
Do NOT download the Arduino App from the Microsoft Store. This is a much more limited version and lacks functionality compared to the full desktop IDE.
Always download the Arduino IDE directly from arduino.cc to get the complete, full-featured desktop application.
