Vilros Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler Compatible Case

Perfect minimalist case for Raspberry Pi 5 with Active Cooler. Provides physical protection for RPi5 without restricting airflow. RPi5 Active Cooler has a temperature-controlled fan, but is also a large heat sink. An open case maximizes passive cooling before the fan is needed. The case top has room to stick an RPI5 RTC battery on top of the Ethernet port but below the case top. Using standard board spacers allows mixing this case with other components, such as an NVMe SSD base.

I used a Vilros Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler Compatible Case and a Pimoroni NVMe Base to build an open-sided stack: short screw - Vilros bottom - 6mm M-F standoff - Pimoroni Base - 1mm washer - 6mm M-F standoff - RPi5 + active cooler - 17mm M-M standoff - Vilros top - short screw.

This is an excellent cooler for the Raspberry Pi 5. It is relatively quiet and keeps the 5 cool. While I haven't tried over clocking, I'm sure it would handle that with no problems.

This cooler is a must have if your running the Raspberry Pi 5.
