Launched in March 2023 The Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera features a 1.5-megapixel Sony IMX296 sensor with integrated global shutter in the same form factor as the existing Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera CS Mount.

It is ideally suited to applications that require accurate imaging in the presence of rapid motion, including sports photography and industrial machine vision.
