A complete desktop computer for a fraction of the price.
The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B offers groundbreaking increases in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory, and connectivity compared to previous generations of Raspberry Pi. Users will enjoy a level of desktop performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems, with access to two display outputs, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 40 GPIO pins.
Key Features
- Dual 4K Displays: Two Micro HDMI ports support a dual monitor setup.
- USB 3 Ports: Transfer data ten times faster with two USB 3 ports.
- Wi-Fi & Ethernet: Connect to the internet with Gigabit Ethernet or 2.4/5.0 GHz wireless LAN.
- Bluetooth: Link other devices to the Raspberry Pi 4 using a Bluetooth 5.0 connection.
- GPIO Pins: 40-pin GPIO header for connecting sensors, motors, and devices.
Operating Requirements
- Power Supply: A 15W USB-C power supply is needed to provide power to the board.
- Micro SD card with Raspberry Pi OS: Vilros offers SD cards pre-flashed with RPi OS.
- Keyboard and Mouse: Connected through the Raspberry Pi’s USB ports.
- Micro HDMI Cable: Used to connect a monitor to your Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.
How Much RAM Do You Need?
More RAM allows the Raspberry Pi to run more programs at once, handle larger files, or support more demanding applications without slowing down. If you're not sure which to choose, the 4GB option is a great place to start for most beginners and educators.
- 1GB – Best for very simple tasks like command-line interfaces, lightweight automation, or running a single small program. Not ideal for desktop use or multitasking. (Note: this version is now discontinued in many regions.)
- 2GB – Great for general use and light projects like coding, media playback, or running a single app smoothly. Good balance of cost and function for basic use.
- 4GB – Ideal for heavier multitasking, full desktop environments, or more advanced DIY projects. Recommended for users who plan to run multiple apps or use a graphical interface regularly.
- 8GB – Best for power users, developers, and advanced projects like databases, emulation, running containers, or media servers.
Board Specifications
- Processor: Broadcom BCM2711, quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz
- Memory: Available with 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM
- Connectivity: 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, BLE Gigabit Ethernet 2 × USB 3.0 ports 2 × USB 2.0 ports.
- GPIO: Standard 40-pin GPIO header (fully backward-compatible with previous boards)
- Video & sound: 2 × micro HDMI ports (up to 4Kp60 supported) 2-lane MIPI DSI display port 2-lane MIPI CSI camera port 4-pole stereo audio and composite video port
- Multimedia: H.265 (4Kp60 decode); H.264 (1080p60 decode, 1080p30 encode); OpenGL ES, 3.0 graphics
- SD card support: Micro SD card slot for loading operating system and data storage
- Input power: 5V DC via USB-C connector (minimum 3A1) 5V DC via GPIO header (minimum 3A1) Power over Ethernet (PoE)–enabled (requires separate PoE HAT)

Jeff J. I was working on a project that needed multiple Pis (4B). I already had them, from back when they were "abundant & cheap" lol. But during development, it seemed like one of my Pis wasn't working like it should...
So I needed a replacement! I started searching. I know we had a severe shortage a while back, and the prices SOARED. But, I assumed that since they're back in production, the prices came back down. Well, not so much, now it's due to memory chips. ...
Then I found Vilros.com.
I couldn't believe the low prices!
For my project, 1 GB of RAM was enough, so the price was great! Much lower than anyone else.
So, I ordered, cuz I needed it, but I thought it would be sloooow to arrive. I assumed my project would get cobwebs while I was waiting....
Then it arrived in only a few days! They must've shipped it same day as I ordered.
Yep, it arrived quickly, well packed and ready to go!
Vilros.com is my new supplier! Can't beat their inventory, prices OR service.
And their site is EASY to navigate.
Thanks, Vilros! 👍

Henry B. I recently built the Duneweaver Pro sand table. It's a well-documented project that can use the Pi Zero, Pi 4 or 5. At first I had the 5, but found it was such a power hog, and the app just doesn't need it. Switching to this Pi 4 gets me the expansion I want for a touch-screen, while keeping power low and familiar install/configure settings. I don't think I'll buy Pi's from anywhere else: Vilros has the stock, delivery and trustworthiness I love!
