Raspberry Pi 2026 Price Increases Announced

Raspberry Pi announces 2026 price increases for boards with 2GB+ RAM due to LPDDR4 memory cost rises driven by AI infrastructure rollout.

The Announcement

In late 2025, Raspberry Pi announced price increases for some Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 products. The cost of LPDDR4 memory continued to rise through the end of 2025, with some parts more than doubling in price over the last quarter. This led to further price increases affecting all Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 boards with 2GB of RAM or more.

These price increases affect all distributors of Raspberry Pi products and are not unique to Vilros.

What's Driving the Increase

The increases were driven by a rise in the cost of LPDDR4 memory, ultimately caused by the AI infrastructure rollout demanding significant memory resources.
