Like the existing Raspberry Pi HQ Camera, the M12 version is built around the 12.3 megapixel Sony IMX477 image sensor module.
Many industrial customers already use M12 mount lenses and connect these to the C mount metalwork on the existing High Quality Camera via an adapter.
The M12 variant of the High Quality Camera has modified metalwork that natively supports M12 mount lenses
