RPi4 is a little monster with a big punch. I got the one with 4GB and I'm running Home Assistant, Scrypted, zwave jsui and some other docker containers. CPU usage is low, memory usage is 50% and performance is great. Adding a small fan and a heatsink and CPI temp is only 35C.
Given the inability to keep them in stock, I think everyone knows about RPis by now. As for Vilros, they've been fantastic. Shipped way faster than I expected and got here a day earlier than quoted. I'm elated I got one at all, getting it quicker than expected is a joy. Will definitely shop with Vilros again.
I've had several projects on hold for Raspberry Pis for over 18 months. I just wasn't going to give in to scalpers charging 3x the prescribed rate. Then when the flow started to trickle, the big sellers were playing games and their stock was gone before they would notify anyone. Thankfully, Vilros didn't play those games. I was able to pick up both an 8GB and a 4GB RPi 3 in June and July. Got some projects started and one completed. I'll hang back for a bit and let others get some that they need then I'll be back to pick up a few more. Thanks Guys!!
Was wanting to build a short term NAS solution till I can afford to build a bigger box. This works great for my needs. Also love that I'll be able to repurpose it in the future as I need. Vilros was great and shipped fast. Arrived ahead of expected date.
Shipped and received the oi fast. Item is new and works fine, thanks.
