Back for More RaspCAM/TFT

Just gettin’ started, buUut… this is a bargain, if you’re up to doing a bit of (re)coding to make use of it:

It’s engineered by ArduCAM, with Adafruit working on it a while back, when B+ was the thing…

You’ll wanna set up SSH, since you’ll be redirecting HDMI to the TFT screen.

The driver is either 28r (2.8 resistive) or 28c (2.8 capacitive), and you can enable one of the switches for on/off using GPIO #23, with the other three being wired to otherwise unused GPIOs.

The LCD + touchscreen uses the SPI pins (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0, CE1), and GPIO #25 and #24.

I’d bet the lens, which is the same one that screws on Raspberry Pi’s HQ camera, costs more than $7.

You’ll likely be working in Python.

I’ve already found just enough about this thing to know I will be able to use it with Zero 2 W, soOo… buying more of both ~;-)

Lcd worked well.
I was able to get the lcd to work with adafruit drivers.

Unfortunately, no drivers were presented in the package, or documentation for what type of LCD/touchscreen was used.
Still unable to use touchscreen/buttons.

This would ideally be pretty cool, but I can't find a supported image or an image with a working gui anywhere. Pretty frustrating. Also it's just the board, no spacers, so I have a pretty sad rig going with the corners taped down to my pi 3b+ case. Either way I have not yet been able to find a way to use this as a touch screen camera.
